Cruising the 31

So to say Mom and I are rather stressed over the Boho Babes Boutique might be the understatement of the century. I worry we won't have enough merchandise. She worries we won't have enough customers. I've finally given up on trying to make anything else because I'm just too tired. My house is covered in glitter, and I really am looking forward to it just being my house again, and not my studio. Haha. Studio=Pretentious. But it sounds so much nicer than saying I have projects strewn from one end of the house to the other.
Last night, Mumsy and I were working at the farm for a bit. It's all very overwhelming, because we have no idea how we'll get everything ready for Saturday. Truthfully, we'd like to have our stuff all done today. And beyond that, I'd like to clean house tonight. Well, that's not exactly true. I'd really like to go home and find my house magically spotless so I could log some long-overdue time with my friends. Or go do some kissing, because being this domestic makes me feel unbalanced. But anyway, it's gonna be a long couple of days.
So after just a couple of hours organizing things at the farm, Mom suggested we quit and I was all for it. I was checking some text messages, and didn't really pay attention when she suggested we go get some ice cream. I must have mumbled "sure" though because before I knew it, we weren't on our way home, but en route to Baskin Robbins. I'm not gonna lie-- after running up and down the stairs for that long last night, a little Daiquiri Ice sounded heavenly. But as we pulled up, we saw my mother's arch-nemesis. Actually, she's someone we still really care about, but this lady has basically pulled away from her family and ours, and any accidental meeting about town is really uncomfortable. I jokingly yelled, "Mayday! Mayday! _______ is in BR!!!" and my mom totally drove out of the parking lot. It was hilarious! Then she said, "Well, it looked like she might have been leaving" so we actually just circled back. But the lady was still there, and in all fairness, she got there first. My mom really was too uncomfortable, so we ended up driving home. I don't know if my mom got any ice cream last night, but I just chillaxed with a Peach Fresca (oh, how I love thee, diet beverage!) and a Pauly Shore movie. "Bio-Dome" was really stupid, but P.S. looked mighty fine with his close-cropped, red-dyed hair. I know. Inexplicable. And a testament to a serious need for lip-action.
